Hello TALK Parents!
These past two weeks the kids have been reviewing general topics we had gone over such as food and the verb to like (
gustar) and worked on their
Me gusta/ no me gusta book. They also reviewed how to say the time playing ¿Qué hora es Señor Fox? (What time is it Mr. Fox?), and the weather by finishing up our vocabulary sheets from the previous week! We also reviewed the commands with
Simón Dice (Simon Says).
This last week we focused on vocabulary related to Winter! The kids went over general vocabulary such as snowman, snowflake, as well as sports such as hockey and iceskating. We also reviewed clothing related to winter such as scarfs and mittens! During this last week before our break, we focused on a lot of hands-on activities such as building items with play-dough and making snowflakes! On Thursday we listened to some Holiday tunes and worked on Holiday cards, that unfortunately we didn't get to finish.
We also celebrated two birthdays! And the kids were super excited to sing the birthday song in Spanish to their classmates! 🎂🎉
