This week the kids have done some review on a topic they know well: the calendar. We have reviewed the days of the week (as well as yesterday, today, and tomorrow), the months of the year as well as the seasons. The kids have also been working on making associations with the months and the seasons (e.g. Winter starts mid December and ends mid March).
Another thing the kids have also reviewed this past week is how to say when their birthday is in Spanish as well as their birthday season. Speaking of birthdays, we have two birthdays coming up these next two weeks so the kids will be reviewing the birthday song in Spanish to sing to their classmates 🎉🎂
Here is a link to review the days of the week at home. If you would like to challenge your kids in a fun way, ask them to sing along and keep up the pace (the song speeds up!):
The kids collaborated to order the days of the week |
The kids also had to try to order the months without prior review |
This week the kids worked on a calendar. Next week we will finish it by adding new vocabulary to it: the weather |
