This week was a fun and creative week for the students. We had two events that were integrated into this weeks lesson plan, Halloween and Day of the Dead. Some of the activities for this week were related to Halloween and the Day of the dead. In addition to these events the students learned about the weather. They learned terms such as "storm, lightning, sunny, cold, freezing, hale, rain, tornado, snow". All in all, it was busy and exciting week.
On Monday, the students started their Halloween themed Bingo Cards. This was so much fun since the students wanted to learn how to translate spooky terms in Spanish. We went over terms such as "vampire, black cat, skeleton, pumpkin, jack-or-latern, candy, trick-or-treat etc". As seen below their Bingo cards came out great. I am very proud of them.
In regards to the activity of Day of Dead, many students were not able to finish coloring some details and those pictures will be uploaded soon. However, I do have to say the students were excited to color their Day of Dead alter.
Thank you so much!
