Intermediate French – DAC – End of January Post!

Bonjour parents!

               This week at TALK we’ve been learning about sea animals! We learned how to say different marine mammals like whales, and dolphins. We made “devinettes” about our animals using the verbs we had learned “vivre” (to live) and “manger” (to eat). Each student wrote their own riddle about their animals and read it out loud for the other students to guess!

Here are some examples of devinettes we solved!

Un Cachalot: Je suis le plus grand predateur du monde J’ai des dents Je mange le calamar	A sperm whale : I am the biggest predator in the world I have teeth I eat squid
Une otarie : Je suis plus petit qu’une baleine Je suis bruyant Tu peux me trouver a San Francisco	A sea lion : I am smaller than a whale I am loud You can find me in San Francisco

We also played one of our favorite games where the students used playdoh to form the animals and make another student guess! Here are some pictures from that activity!
