Patwin Beginning & Intermediate ASL

Happy Halloween!

Colored on the HUGE Frankenstein.   Each student colored eyes, boots, and so on.  I asked them to write in a simple sentence then we sign in ASL sentences.  Almost done.  We will finish that tomorrow on their "Fun" Thursday.  "Fun" Thursday is like a free play, but they choose a few games to play to review from Week 1 to Week 7.

Can you guess what they were signing?  Which one is pumpkin?  Halloween?  Monster?  Bat?  Witch?  Please ask your child(ren).
Halloween Bingo!  They learned to pay attention to their Teacher Tara while she fingerspelled or signed.
Feelings: (from left to right) boring, silly, shy, mad (they used their facial expressions OPPOSITE!)For example: you can see Mason being serious, but his index card said, "silly".  We had fun learning how to sign of feelings vocabulary and used facial expressions.  Somehow, a few of them decided sign and used facial expressions in the opposite ways and we laughed.
Jayden and Sean working together on Decode the Code!  Can they translate the following sentences from the manual alphabet?  It is a very good practice for them to read the shapes of hands.
