Intermediate French - DAC - End of February Post

Bonjours Parents,
This week we learned about french food! We've been learning about typical french foods for all meals. Here is our vocab list: 

Le Petit Déjeuner: Breakfast

Le déjeuner: lunch
Le
Diner : dinner
Une pâtisserie: a pastry
Du pain: bread
Une baguette
Une crêpe
Un croissant
Une omelette
Un pain au chocolat: a chocolat croissant
Un café au lait: coffee with milk
Un Chocolat chaud: hot chocolate
Du lait: milk
des céréales: cereal
Un croque monsieur: a French melted cheese sandwich
Une quiche
Une salade
Une crêpe salée
Pommes frites: fries
Ratatouille : a french eggplant dish
Soupe à l'Oignon Gratinée: onion soup
foie gras: French goose liver spread

Steak frites: fries and steak

On Monday, I brought in all the ingredients to make crepes and the students followed a recipe in french to make crêpes.

I cooked the crêpe batter we had made and brought them in the next day and the students filled their crêpes with strawberries , bananas and nutella ! Here are some photos from that activity!
