Int Spa - Korematsu - Mid March Post

Hola padres de TALK ☀️

These past two weeks the kids and I have been reviewing  parts of the house and appliances/furniture such as bedroom, kitchen, living room, couch, fridge, bed, etc. The kids reviewed a few verbs, such as to have (tener) and to be (estar). We also reviewed some new animals the kids hadn't seen before such as deer, raccoon, shrimp, squid, frog, owl, insect and others. We focused on three main areas: jungle, forest and the ocean. The kids also reviewed the verb to live (vivir) and worked on sentence building.

We did a variety of activities such as building a house together. Each kid picked a room in the house which they drew and labeled. We also got to build animals with play-doh and tried to guess what we each had made.

Here are some pictures from this week:

The student drew a bathroom and labeled it

The student in the front drew a kitchen and the one in the back a dining room

The students went over three different types of animals this week and worked on sentence building

The kids played with play-doh and built many animals reviewed this week
