Int Spanish - Korematsu - Late Oct Post

Hello TALK parents!

These past two weeks we have reviewed fruit and vegetables as well as the verb to like (gustar) and how to say the time as well as the verb to be (ser). The kids had the opportunity to color in their own "me gusta/ no me gusta" books with images of fruits and vegetables and they did an activity to find out what their classmates like or didn't like using their books! We also worked on reviewing how to say the time by writing about our daily routines.

In regards to vocabulary, the kids also learned Halloween and Día de Muertos vocabulary and we did a few fun activities like: guess the monster (charades) and colored in an altar/ofrenda. Here is a video I played for them during class to review the time and Halloween vocabulary:



Lastly, we also reviewed Puerto Rico and México :) For next week, we will be talking about Chile as well as sports (requested by the students).
