Over the past couple weeks in our beginning
Spanish class we have learned new material. The students have been focusing on
learning cuartos y muebles
del hogar (rooms and furniture in the house) and as an activity they
drew every room and the furniture. In addition, they created their own pares (pairs) with the
words in English and Spanish.
We also started learning about countries in
Latin America! The kids started working on a librito (mini-book) where they drew
the flag of the countries next to name of the country. With this activity we
have learned terms such as: país, bandera, sur, norte, centro ect. We also reviewed los colores (the
colors).
Hope you enjoyed reading a little bit about what
our class has been working on.
